Sahara Mediterranean Indian Cuisine

This August, this restaurant opened the taste of Egyptian, Palestinian, Iranian and Iraqi chefs. Our host Julie was very polite and charming to talk to. She brought us her special “Hummus” to the house, as it was our first time. We ordered a plate that is more like a plate, combining all kinds of kababab. Everything was really delicious. It is really super convenient for people living near UTK. We will definitely visit again.

Fantastic food and really the friendly and informative cook behind the counter I've ever met. We came for an authentic Mediterranean experience and he helped us to have one. We're going back.

That was something about THE VERY BEST food I've ever had! The mixed grill ordered and everything was amazing. The food was super fresh, perfectly boiled, and the portions were plentiful I usually hate filled grape leaves and was hesitant to try (they came as a side) and they let me want more! I'm in town for business and will definitely come back to the Sahara when I come back! And last but not least the young lady standing behind the register was super nice, very knowledgeable about the menu, and very personal. All in all a great experience!

Absolutely delicious and super fresh! I was very impressed by the variety and overall taste of the ducks. Would definitely recommend! Try the humus and the mixed grill dish (small pieces everything).

We were looking for a Halal restaurant when we were in Knoxville and came across this place. We loved every bit of the food we ordered. Our food was served with great care. I'd recommend this restaurant to my family/friends if they visit Knoxville!
