The menu was so limited we had to settle for a burger. Which was delicious. However, they no longer offer tater tots, which is one of our favorites. We were quite disappointed with the selections, though the service was very good.
Absolutley the worst I've been to, stay away. They weren't busy and it took close to an hour to get our meals. Service is minimal, with no one coming back to check on us. I had the burger which was ok, my wife and her mother had the asparagus stuffed chicken. Horrible, my wife said there was no stuffing and it was tuff to chew. I watched my mother in law struggle to even cut hers let alone chew it. Then.......she pulled a long brown hair out of her meal. That's when I asked for the Manager. When confronted she did apologise and comped 1 meal and offered something else but the damage was done. The whole time I could watch the kitchen staff. The cook had somewhat long hair and a bushy beard wearing a ball cap. I mentioned this to the manager and she said the cap was ok. Well, it isn't and a cover over the beard is requured also. Guess she doesn't know State law. To help her along here is a simple google result. Should be a complete hair and beard net. Do yourself a favor, save your money and time....stay away Food Code reference: 2-402.11 The Food Code requires that food employees wear hair restraints that are designed and worn to effectively keep their hair from contacting exposed food; clean equipment, utensils, and linens; and unwrapped single-service or single-use articles.
Nice view. The food took a while to come out. The kids menu burger was decent. Brussels sprout appetizer was good. The braised beef noodles weren’t too good. Prices are on the high side
I am sorry to leave such a negative review, but I do this to save others from an expensive mistake. Friends wanted to treat us to a fine dining experience so they made reservations here after confirming they could accommodate a vegan. Yes we can do anything was the reply . Not so When our server approached, our host reminded her that her guest was vegan and that the chef had said he could do something special. Yes, we can do anything ' she brightly assured me. I said OK, welli would like the chicken piccatta with tofu substituted for the chicken. Oh, we don 't have tofu; we could leave off the chicken and the garlic mashed potatoes because they 're made with butter . I said ok, what would you substitute? She just shrugged. I said, ok, let 's make this easy--I will have the garden burger. 10 min later she informs me that they 're out of garden burgers and what else would I like. I offered some suggestions which apparently couldn 't be modified. Ok then, I will just have the house salad and a side plate of vegetables. The 'house salad ' turned out to be a side of salad, not a dinner salad. A few greens on a dessert plate, 4 slices of cucumber. And a cherry tomato. For $19 no less.my husband would be embarrassed to serve me a salad like that. It was paltry and very sad. The side of veggies was 3 quarters of 1/3 of a zucchini (sliced like pickle spears). Imagine 1/3 of a zucchini, sliced like pickle spears, and then 3 quarter inch wide by 3 inches long. Really? It was the saddest vegetable platter I 've ever seen and it was served in a dessert bowl.a bowl mind you. It was a very disappointing 'meal ' to be sure.i know our hosts feltbad for their guest to be served a child size bowl of greens. My husband, not a vegan, did order the chicken piccatta. As a carnivore, he was extremely disappointed, too. The chicken was mediocre at best. The bed of garlic mashed potatoes was cold, had no garlic, tasted old and like it was instant mashed potatoes. $22 for that. The server offered us the wine list and couldn 't answer any question about the wines. Not difficult questions either, more like is this a sweet wine or dry . From assuring me 'we can do anything (which was clearly false) to not being knowledgeable about the food or wine, it was a disastrous dining experience. I was embarrassed for our hosts who were clearly embarrassed that a thoughtful gesture turned into a sad plate of greens for their guest. The charcuterie board our hosts had ordered was pathetic. 2strawberries, dozen blueberries, a few slices of meat and cheese, and a few cubes of Flatbread. A really terrible, thoughtless presentation, esp for $24. This was not a fine dining experience. I have had a better dinner at Carl 's Jr with their vegan burgers and at a fraction of the price. I will say that the outdoor patio was pretty with the forest flanking the golf course. But you can 't eat a view. I recommend simply having a drink on the patio (an easy one since they clearly don 't know their beverages) and dine somewhere else in town.
Has potential but falls short each time I try to give it another chance and I’ve given it 3 4 chances. The only person who actually acknowledged me the last two times I was here on a weekend was Cari, one of the waitresses. The “manager” or whomever he is is more concerned with the till. He hasn’t made eye contact or greeted me since I’ve been here for over an hour and didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I’ve been sitting here at the bar (the only one at the bar mind you) with an empty plate and empty drink for the past 5 plus minutes. Not to mention, the food is lackluster at best. I should have known better than to order chicken and waffles but I had hopes. The waffles look like they were frozen ones and they came out cold. The chicken was sad. Definitely not worth the cost. I’m sitting here waiting for my laundry to finish and would really love a Bloody Mary but no one has asked how things are going or if I’d like anything else. Hard to want to shell out 17+ for an entree or want to spend on another drink when I’m being completely ignored. I could probably walk out without paying and no one would notice. Overall, even though I’m staying here for 3 months and this is the most convenient place for a drink and breakfast while I’m doing laundry I will avoid.
