Milly's Authentic Jamaican - Kingsport

This place is definitely a dive. The parking is a little inconvenient (particularly in the rain). It's a little confusing that you're supposed to seat yourself. Also, the waiter came to our table, didn't get us menus and immediately asked what we wantedto eat. I was totally taken aback by that. Still, he was a decent waiter. The atmosphere is a little mishmash, but to theircredit they definitely tried. The food is not bad. It was unique and traditional which I loved, but I wasn't overly impressedwith the quality. Ultimately, if you're looking for an authentic Jamaican dive, look no further than Milly's just bring yourphone to scan the QR code menu and manage your expectations.

The staff was fabulous. The food is out of this world delicious. Possibly the best meal I have had all year! Large portions for a great price as well.

Every time we go in here we are reminded how absolutely delicious all of the food is. And it's delight to get to try Jamaican beverages that are so absolutely healthy and yet decadent at the same time. We'll always recommend this place. I just wish theywere open more often, if possible for them!

Menu is small but the food was excellent. We got the chicken stew and pork stew with a side of coconut bread. Chicken had a touch of heat while the pork did not. They both came with red bean rice, plantain and steamed cabbage with carrot. The bread hada similar texture to a dinner roll but was the size of 4 standard rolls that was slightly sweet and soft. Everything was sowell seasoned. I was a little hesitant because I don't handle spicy food well and the mildly spicy chicken wasn't too much forme. This will definitely be a staple for us. I wish they posted the prices on the menu board but that's not enough to discounta star. They do have a scrolling menu with prices at the back on a TV screen but you have to wait through it when it could justbe posted on the menu board. Our total was 26 plus tip so not bad on the pricing either.

Had the jerk chicken and ox tails. The food is perfection! I'm from a bigger city and used to being able to get Jamaican food on a whim, so I'm incredibly happy that our little town finally got an amazing Jamaican place. 100/10, can not recommend themenough!
