The Old Bakery - Kingsbridge

Whilst holidaying in Kingsbridge my husband and I were fortunate to stumble across this wonderful gem. Having a chef for a husband our expectations for quality food were high but this place did not disappoint. We ordered a selection of tapas, a couple off the Specials board too and I can honestly say we polished off the lot alongside a yummy bottle of white wine. Even though it was a busy night the staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere very relaxing. If you enjoy good quality food in a wonderful atmosphere amongst a fantastically old building, The Old Bakery is for you. It's a must if you are visiting Kingsbridge, be sure to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Cannot wait to eat there again!

Very accommodating and helpful, especially as we hadn't pre-booked, it was so nice to have such a warm and enthusiastic welcome when entering The Old Bakery. The service was excellent both by Juliet and Nikki and the chefs menu was varied and each dish was made to a high standard of excellence, which were tantalisingly delicious to each taste bud. It made my husband and myself feel very special on our date night, with a candlelit table and the array of lovely food. We would like to thank Juliet and her staff for such a lovely welcome and such an enjoyable evening.

Gorgeous place...only had a cappuccino as it was a flying visit but will definitely go back for dinner soon...the menu looks fab

First visit and we loved the place, warm welcome, great decor and wonderful tapas...and they play jazz, what's not to like
