I have booked the pet-friendly room unknowingly and was shocked when I found it out (at the cashier), as there were no signs for a pet history. everything was immaculately cleaned and well maintained, the beds were comfortable, and there were many pleasant things (coffee machines, mini fridge, bathrobes, etc.) the breakfast menu was world class and the owners and their staff were friendly and courteous.' make them please and spend the extra few dollars on this place the free/included breakfast is more than it is worth and they will not be disappointed.
My fiancé and I stayed here this past weekend. It was a fabulous place to be service was wonderful, room was clean and comfortable and the food was so yummy! The location was perfect to downtown and every serve/innkeeper was fabulous. Highly recommend and we will be back!
The staff and Innkeeper of Kilmarnock Inn were most excellent in the planning and executing a very successful surprise birthday party for my husband. Forty eight guests attended of which 30 out-of- towners stayed at the Inn. All 30 guests enjoyed their stay and felt very pampered. It was a very memorable event for my husband and for my whole family. Everything was perfect from the cocktails, appetizers, dinner, wine, dessert, after dinner drinks and the dancing! Shawn and staff really made every effort to offer a stellar service. Very grateful!
Kilmarnock Inn is an exceptional experience. It is themed as a patriotic romp through US politics from our beginnings. You may stay in the Madison cottage, surf the internet on the Jefferson WiFi channel, and dine at Filibuster's. Breakfast is inclusive and features. among others, the Presidential, Harrison Hash, or Eggs Benedict Arnold. I liked this one with eggs over easy. Lunch is very good, but their crab or onion soup was all that I myself needed. Dinner is served Thursday through Saturday, and we found it excellent. Try the duck breast. The management is family hands-on. For that matter, we were treated as family. I swapped recipes with the kitchen and jokes with everyone. The rooms were clean and quiet. One issue with hot water, but there was a microwave and mini-fridge, and heat in the bathroom.Full bar and extensive wine collection. Ample parking. As one might expect, this is not a low budget hostel. If however, you remember that a breakfast that would cost you $25 or so per person is included, and you don't have to listen to a Zoom meeting in the next room, it is a good value for money.
The food was tasty. Great place for an after Mass breakfast. The Hollandaise sauce was delicious on the frittata. The experience was very pleasant and a bit humorous. The owner has a great disposition, and our servers were very sweet.
