Jack Flats - Key West

Great place and the food was amazing. Asked for my grilled Mahi blackened and it was seasoned perfect, flaky, and juicy.

Nice restaurant with friendly, attentive service and reasonable prices. Burgers were delicious.

First, the food. Shrimp was overcooked, rice was undercooked. They were busy and past experiences have been better so I didn’t complain. Unfortunately, it appears that management has changed and after years of frequenting this place, I will never be back as it is unsafe. The staff anticipated a large crowd for the euro cup yet no security was present. An unruly patron threw beer all over me and my family and slammed his glass down on the floor, shattering it. Glass flew everywhere and children were present. My family and I cleaned up that man’s mess, going as far as sweeping up the glass. You would think he would’ve been asked to leave but he continued yelling, cussing, and directing derogatory comments towards patrons who were not cheering for his team. The straw that broke the camel’s back is when he decided to throw a dirty napkin in our direction, coupled with insults. This staff has no idea how to keep their patrons safe or how to de-escalate unruly patrons. I’ve personally never been to a bar that allows people to stay after throwing beer on people and purposefully smashing their glass on the ground. It’s a liability and very unfortunate that management didn’t intervene. We won’t be back.

Standard sports bar and standard food at a place like this. Nice place to go to get out of the heat on Duval street.

Food was good service was slow before our meal was over it suddenly became a sports bar with a soccer match so loud we didn't stay for desert or drinks as planned.
