Rockne's - Kent

2 fish dinners ordered tonight. Eating was terrible I spent 23.85 and tip 5.00. Fish ended badly in the garbage can. French fries were ice cold. The Mac and cheese my husband wouldn't even eat it. I don't think I'll ever order food or eat more. I still have my reception. I can bring the food back.

This is a place that we eat at, not regularly but often, since its located close to work.

$27 plus tip for dry as desert sowestrn sandwich. Tepid, overpriced onion soup with unmelted cheese. Won't go back Akron buffet cost less. Service was ok. Spend yr money wisely.

Rockne's was a place I loved to go to back in the 90s when I was in college. Good times. I took my younger 2 kids there and they lived it too. The bacon cheese fries were as great as I remembered. I ordered the Philly because of fond memories. However, mymemories forgot that it is actually a burger variation of the favorite sandwich. Still good, but be advised. Awesome crew, greatatmosphere will return some day.

20 minute wait to get seated was not bad.....but, we then waited 25 minutes with no one even acknowledging we were there. We had to ask a server whom was taking care of our table they had to go ask the hostess. We then had a server 5 minutes later. Healmost did a good job, but after the food was brought out, he kept forgetting about us. A very long and frustrating experience.At least the food was decent.
