My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant on Saturday. Unfortunately, there was only one main course option that was gluten-free on the menu, which caused some concern among the staff when I mentioned my dietary restriction. I ended up having the sea bass, which was not what I had in mind, especially since it was overcooked and came with dry rice and a few cherry tomatoes. The price of £28 seemed a bit steep for the dish. The mezze starters were delicious but also pricey. Overall, the lunch was enjoyable in a beautiful setting. We were fortunate that it wasn't too crowded, so the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. The staff were friendly and tried their best to accommodate my gluten-free needs, although it seemed like it wasn't something they were used to dealing with. Just a heads up, the drink selection is limited with only one red and one white wine, beer, and nothing else.
London has a plethora of unique cuisines to choose from, but if you find yourself at Harrods feeling hungry after shopping, I highly recommend this restaurant. The Middle Eastern food served here is exceptionally well-prepared, just like you would find in the Middle East.
A wonderful cafe for afternoon tea/coffe with delicious cakes. An atmosphere of historical well presented traditions – managed with a silent considerate and polite service.
I have been a loyal customer of Mezzah Lounge for years, always enjoying their delicious chapati and flavorful Karak tea. However, when I visited yesterday, I was disappointed to find out that these items were no longer on the menu. Can anyone explain why they were taken off?
