Subway - Kenosha

I went 20 mins before closing on a Sat night and the nice young man behind the counter was still so patient with me as I had a couple questions. Working in fast food I know how it is and I really appreciated him treating me like it was any other time of the day.

The customer service at this restaurant was terrible. The person making my sandwich seemed unable to communicate and didn't ask for my order, just stared at me. They also refused to accept any of my coupons. I won't be returning until they hire more respectful staff and the management stops being so cheap.

This was the worst sandwich I have ever had from any Subway. The service was just as bad. I requested that my bread and cheese be toasted first, but they left it in the toaster for too long while they made another sandwich. The sandwich was over-toasted, tough, and difficult to eat. I couldn't even finish it. The veggies on the other sandwich were haphazardly placed on each half, not evenly distributed throughout. I have given this place multiple chances, but the last 2-3 visits have been terrible. I will not be returning to this location.

On 6/19/2020, I visited this restaurant to place a to-go order. The store and prep area were exceptionally clean. Ciko helped me with an Italian BMT with double meat, and I must say it was the most beautifully prepared sub I have ever seen. The bread was perfectly cut in half, the meat was layered on both sides of the sub (which is important), and the cheese and onions were evenly distributed. After putting it in the toaster, Ciko briefly helped another customer but made sure to take my sub out of the toaster when it was ready. Another associate came to assist and finished preparing my sub. I was so impressed with the service that I called the store later to get Ciko's name to commend him to the manager, but ended up speaking with him directly. I hope the manager sees this review as well. I highly recommend this location!
