So I am born and raised in Toronto and most weekends were spent on the Danforth enjoying what I thought to be the best Greek food I would ever have in my lifetime….psych! That was until my girlfriend took me to Plaza. She was raving about it for months and I was like ya ya, I’m sure some restaurant in a small town can beat out a whole street in Toronto full of Greek restaurants as far as the eye can see. Well it was a humbling experience as she looked at me as I took the first bite of the dip trio and said “I told you so”. I’d be willing to have her be able to say I told you so for the rest of my life to have that plate of chicken souvlaki and calamari again. So good that I came back the next day and oh also drove 16 hours back to Calgary with enough hummus to last me 6 months…I hope. But in all seriousness Plaza is truly one of the greatest meals I’ve ever had, the service was incredible, the atmosphere they created makes it feel like you’re in Greece and above all the owner Tina makes you feel like part of the family. When they say you can taste the love in food, well then Tina is Cupid herself with how much love is in that food. I’ll be bragging to my friends and family back home in Toronto that I’ve eaten at the best Greek restaurant in Canada. Don’t walk, don’t run, sprint to plaza as soon as you can, or because it’s located in lake of the woods boat there, just get there. Counting down the days till I’m able to go back. PS highly recommend the dip trio, any of the souvlakis, the green lemon soup, navy bean soup, calamari, and Maria’s mocha almond ice cream!

You won't be seated unless you have the exact number of people for a table. Don't try to go as a group if you are one short for a big table they won't let you in.
