Ho Ho Chinese Food - Kenora

A great menu, no matter what you order. the sommes are made there, not bought, the garnels are excellent, large and very good.

I came to ho ho for a Christmas party with low expectations. a Chinese restaurant in kenora? please. when I heard that msg was in all means of life, except that special ordered I was double stupid, because I really don't like it and always one. but when I mentioned this on the server, she proved to be accommodating and offered a few alternative suggestions. I chose the stir roasted green and huh and found it delicious. I would come back to ho for the same meal.

Lunch out led us to Ho Ho's for lunch to try an establishment we haven't visited before. We were there just before 1. Nice atmosphere, looked clean. Went for the lunch time smorg that was offered for $14.95. Realized after we filled our plates and...sat down that most of the food was barely warm. Advertised sweet and sour spare ribs as part of the offerings, but there were none available. Chicken had an excess of batter, veggies were cold/water logged. All around it was not a very impressive first visit, with it unlikely we'll return.

Ordered three dishes and some egg rolls...all were really great! Food was hot and flavorful, service was super friendly too.

Not easily recognizable from the street, and parking is limited to metered parking on the street out front. Buffett is excellent served after 11:30 am hr. Excellent food. Friendly staff.
