Had lunch on the other day with my niece (one of their favorite spots in Kennett Sq. All about Philter Coffee was great. The food ( chicken salad sandwich, mushroom soup delicious, the variety of coffees and teas... simply fantastic. The service was great and the staff so friendly.
Some of the best coffee and tea drinks I had! Atmosphere is relaxing and social, but not loud, so you can still talk. Bakery and food are delicious. With all the options we have today, it is nice to have a local, small business that makes such a great job!
It's not just the coffee, or the food, or the service...all excellent. The decor is appealing. The people friendly staff and guests. And the vibe is indescribably good. Really. Everyone I know who goes can't get enough of the vibe. I have friends who come every chance they can, and they live in Elkton, MD. We're very fortunate to have Chris drop this lovely place into our midst.
