Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Kennesaw

First of all I waited 10 minutes to even get my order because I guess someone before me had a large order. I'm pretty sure the person who did take my order was either drunk, high or had a hang over, because he asked me 3 times what I ordered. Now, for the food, it was HORRIBLE. I ordered the competition plate.The sauce was bad, the brisket was DRY! I couldn't even finish. I'm sorry but this was such a fail on so many levels. We will not return.

Starting with food quality. It 's mediocre. I 'm being fair as can be about the food itself, because brisket and pork are innocent. It can 't be rude. And so, it deserves a fair evaluation. While you can say It 's BBQ! , there are many other options in the area that value your money with quality preparation, and your choice as a customer with a smile and kind service. The Kennesaw location seems to have a problem with proper customer service and adequately trained leadership. After a rather unorthodox and fairly rude call from the manager at the location regarding issues with my delivery order, I 've decided never to spend a dollar here again. As I 've said, there are better options in the area.

Dickies is good. They don't offer the daily specials on Sunday because, she said that is the kids eat free day. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious. They are doing something wrong with the green beans.. it's reasonably priced barbecue, I will be back

Second visit in 3 years. Previous review was only 3 stars. Pictured here Brisket and Chicken on top of Macaroni and Cheese. Splendid!

Tried calling to give you guys a chance to fix this. However, I ordered a sandwhich with pork burnt ends and jalepeno cheddar sausage. When sandwhich was being prepared I was again asked if I wanted burnt ends or pulled pork, I said burnt ends. I get home only to find that I don?t have burnt ends, but pulled pork on my sandwhich, and also the entire sandwhich including the bread was COLD! Meat COLD! Nothing is worst than cold barbecue, along with not even getting what I paid for. I am livid.
