Old Train Station Public House

Out for a bike ride 33 degrees C, decided to stop for a cold beer and some food got a great little seat outside the beer was cold and the food was good.Surprisingly on a busy corner with traffic, the noise level from street was kinda of a non factor. But for us what made the experience better than average was the exceptional service from Faith fr Calgary with her backup guy. Unfortunately, didn't get his name with the beard young, good looking, polite great service from both. Keep the Faith I know u never heard that before

Update: Visited again! Both food and service was pathetic! Food was ok but the service was superrrr slow. Not sure what the matter was, there were hardly any tables about 3-4 max but the service was slower than a turtle. Had to remind them for each and everything. Our server Kassidy was good and friendly but overall a not so good experience. The manager didn't seem friendly. They took around 40 mins for a kids meal which was way beyond a kid's patience and they accidentally dropped a chicken finger but they got 2 instead of 1 after another 25 mins.They also forgot the ice cream in the end. She got the bill, we paid and then asked her for it, upon which she said I thought you don't want to have and then she got it as a go to, it was strange! Beer was ok too, not so good. Overall a below average experience!

Try. The. Fried. Oyster. Mushroom. Immediately. We were there last night to check out the new menu, and I was so happy to see more plant based options than usual. The staff member who brought it to our table was so excited about the dish which was cool to see. They also informed me that the mushrooms were foraged locally, I love that! The mushrooms were absolutely perfect and I even took the left overs home to eat with some ramen. And they just look so pretty! I felt like a fairy eating them! Sorry for the long review, they were just so good!

Service was pretty good and they were slammed. Had the Tuscan Chicken Melt. Probably one of the most flavourful melts I've had in a while. The bread was very delicious and buttery. The house brews on tap were very good as well. I would come back again and bring more friends.

We went in today with our family after a few stressful days of the fires here in Kelowna, wow ! What a great place ! I cannot explain how awesome the food , drinks and service was ! We will definitely be back !
