Blu Saffron Bistro - Kelowna

My partner got food poisoning from the Salmon Risotto at Blu Saffron, while I had the Beyond Burger and was fine. The atmosphere was disappointing, with a radio playing ads, lack of ambient lighting, cafeteria-style tables, and many flies buzzing around. I had to constantly watch my glass of wine to prevent them from flying in. This experience ruined our date night and did not meet our expectations for a meal costing over $120 for two people. We called the restaurant the next day to report the food poisoning, but no refund or compensation was offered. It was a major disappointment and we had hoped for a better experience.

This place is incredible.I took my friend for a late birthday dinner and we had reserved the patio .Unfortunately it was getting chilly and the wind was picking up so we sat inside.I had the Vegetarian Rice bowl and my friend had the chicken parpadelle.We both agreed it was one if not the best meal we ever had.There used to be a sweet potato curry on the menu but it wasn’t anymore.The staff and service was great.I have recommended the bistro to many friends already.Can’t wait to go there again.

I highly recommend Blu Saffron Bistro for its stunning patio view. Unlike the restaurant across the street, this place has ample parking. The service was top-notch and the pulled pork tacos were delicious (don't forget to add an extra third one for $5). The chicken pappardelle was also outstanding. Don't miss out on visiting the wine shop as well. I will definitely be returning.

The food was incredible. I had the muscles in curry sauce, and I haven’t had a curry like that since visiting London. My husband had the BBQ prawn skewer and loved it. Paired with the single vineyard Gewurtztraminer…chefs kiss!

One of the most delicious meals we have had in a long time! Brittany, our server was incredibly kind and didn't miss a beat! We will absolutely be coming back to try more of the menu items! I had the mushroom ravioli, with prawns and my husband had the salmon risotto. We also had the baked brie to start. It was all very yummy! Highly recommend!
