The robot that brings you your drink is so freaking amazing!!! Highly recommended for sure!!! Definitely coming back with my family.Vegetarian options: There is a selection for veggies on the tablet and if you can't find it, a server will gladly assist you.Dietary restrictions: They have the information about every item you select on the tablet.Parking: Near Kino Bookstore and Its almost nearly impossible to find a parking spot during rush hours.Kid-friendliness: The prize system after every 15 plates you finish is so cool. The DC Comics are so cute!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Some tables have a wheel chair sticker that lets us know where the wheelchair are able to sit.
First time going and it was a fun experience. The food was decent, but sparse. I know I was there for a late lunch, but they weren't putting out a lot of items on the revolving bar. Enjoyed the goofy robot server, even if it got a little too close to me. Had to call actual human server over for refills as there isn't an option on the digital menu to do so.
Went to the Midtown location. It had an arcade atmosphere which was neat. For everyone rating low food quality, revolving sushi will never be the same quality as a sit down sushi restaurant. Revolving sushi is a step above buffet sushi but you will NEVER have an omakase experience at a place like this. You go for the fun, the kitsch, the convenience and the ability to try new things without a 8+ piece commitment of ordering a roll at a restaurant. The robots were adorable! Mastering plate removal took a few funny attempts to get it figured out. Loved the hot shot express lane for non conveyor food and loved the ease of ordering food and drink through the table's personal tablet. The other neat thing was the plate counter you slide your empty plates in a slot at your table and it counts plates on the tablet... I couldn't help wonder if someone comes by and hoses that down every so often but I imagine they would have to. What I didn't think was cool was when checking out, for a near human less experience, I thought it was quite ballsy of them to have suggested tips starting at like 18% or 20% for the entire bill when the only time we saw a human was to bring us the alcohol we ordered so we tipped 20% on those charges. Everything else was delivered via robot or conveyor including at least one of our orders of Sake. They need to add water as an option on the tablet because we had to call a wait person to order it, but it was was delivered by the cute little robot that sings songs to you how do we tip it?
Pretty much ordered off the screen and grabbed plates off the revolving bar. (I literally grabbed one plate) It was probably a down time after lunch. There was barely any sushi choices. I had to order from a screen above me. The food was lacking in flavor and tasted overcooked.I would rather sit at a full service restaurant, order food and tip accordingly. There wasn’t a server present to ask questions or ask for chili sauce. Unfortunately, there’s no reason to go back.
Good little sushi spot with a chill atmosphere. Staff was attentive, and the robot bearing drinks was cute!
