Number 86 - Katoomba

Building burnt down in February 2017. But there are plenty of amazing places to eat in Katoomba street.

We ordered a chicken satay pizza for my husband and I to share and a ham and pineapple kids pizza with the extra $5 option to include a drink and fruit salad with icecream our pizza looked like it was on flatbread there was no sauce on the base melted cheese all run into the middle with some chicken and large pieces of cold capsicum not nice at all our childs pizza looked better but the ham was cold and tasted unusual so didn't eat it and the extra $5 got a very small drink with the fruitsalad and icecream consisting of 4 pieces of rockmelon and a piece of mandarin?

86 was a restaurant that had a good variety of food on the menu, but my wife, daughter and I just had the buffet. The buffet is ok, maybe on the small side and a little pricey but really how much can you eat. The staff were great and always refreshing plates. We fund it great for what we wanted.

My husband had the roast of the day and I had pumpkin soup and roasted vegetables.....all scrumptious and plenty of it on the plate and in the bowl.

Been there twice now, once for the buffet and the other time for the beef ribs. Both times the service was very attentive and prompt. For the rib meal they were very accommodating for my option requests. Had a massive feed and left very satisfied.
