The owner receives his guests with handshake and seems to look after your orders personally. He remembered me from last year's visit so well that I even got the same table again. And I don't mean one of those 2-chair tables away in a corner that many restaurants seem to have reserved for solo guests. Unlike that "Filet gourmand" disaster that happened to me in Reims, France, see review of AUX COTEAUX, I had the finest, tenderest "Filetsteak" that you can imagine, for the most reasonable sum of EUR 20.50. That left room for half a dozen Burgundy snails, a glass of Argentinian red wine, Mendoza, and vanilla icecream with whipped cream on top. Total bill was EUR 33.00.NAIS also serves other dishes as well as buffet, [no fish] but for me it is the filet steak that I go there. Altogether a well spent hour. Service is prompt and friendly. I like those upturned milking buckets they use as ceiling lamps. Now that's different! No problem going back there next time. Love the place!

Excellent food, the steaks are super tasty the best I have ever eaten... absolutely recommended. With more people maybe book a table in advance.
