Every time I bike past this place when I go from my holiday house in a small village to the city, I pass this place called Jans Weit Draussen. I finally managed to go there and just had a glass of red wine. I love...this place. JWD is located in a quiet area of the city. Both the interior and the terrace, as well as the whole house (several stories) breath a bohemien feel. I love it.

We were only passing through Kassel, and only chose this place because it was close to the hotel. But what a great choice, the food and beer was great, sweet waitresses and a lot of locals in the bar. Probably some of the best food...we had in our vacation.

Great place to visit for a quiet local meal. Lovely staff and great regulars who staged a rescue mission for a missing cat during my visit.

I love. this place jwd is located in a quiet opposite the city. both the interieur and the terrace as well as the whole house (several layers) breathe a bohemian feeling. I love it.
