Creperie U Slepe Kocicky - Karlin

I know what you 're thinking... What is a `crayp`?! It 's ok, I didn 't know, either. Basically it 's a thin tortilla-like thing but a little more oily. (Mexico would be appalled.. I was skeptical when my friend took me here, but I have to say that my dish was really good. My tortilla was topped with smoked salmon, cream, and cheese. It is only this thing on a plate, but it 's super filling and satisfying. None of us could move after one crayp and a beer. Between puffs of her cigarette, one French girl told me Everything tastes like it has been frozen... So you can take that for what it 's worth. I liked it and the beer had definitely not been frozen even once.

I love crêpes and having lived in France before, finding a good place to have crêpes elsewhere is sometimes hard to find.. I was torn between the daily lunch menu which I have to admit was quite enticing and choosing a savory crêpe. It was lunch time after all. I went with the chicken, sun dried tomatoes, spinach and parmesan cheese crêpe. The portion was quite big and filling. There may have been a bit too many sun dried tomatoes so it was a bit bitter/sour for my taste.. Long story short, I would say that my first visit was not as good as I expected maybe I should have gone with a crêpe with more sauce .. BUT on another note, I wouldn 't mind visiting this place again for a sweet crêpe. Ambiance is nice and cozy; cat themed.

Restaurant, which is excellent and certainly “different” is the crêperie (or palačinkárna “U slepé kočičky“, which mean “by the blind kitty”. Despite the slightly morbid name, the place has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and is kid friendly. On the menu you can, of course, find a large variety of salty galettes and sweet crepes, but also soups, salads, and international main courses. To drink, they have a very nice selection of wine, but also milk shakes (think cold flavored whole milk instead of malts and homemade lemonades. All crêpes are prepared from buckwheat flour(! , so not only is it tasty but also healthy. You can find the daily lunch menu here, which is mixture of international and Czech cuisines. If you are planning to visit in the evening, make sure to make a reservation. This place is packed especially during the weekends, in mainly the non-smoking part.

Příjemné místo, byla jsem si tu sednout s kamarádkou a myslím si že jsme si obě pochutnali, obsluha byla rychlá a příjemná a cena docela ušla.

Vynikající restaurace,jak na pokec s přáteli ,tak na romanticky den.Byli jsme zde na 1.maje (urcite rezervaci doporucuji nejen na tento den . Vynikajici,mila obsluha. Výborné jidlo (hlavne palacinky,urcite vyzkoušejte i slanou verzi, ikdyz nad ni pochybujete nebo s ni nemate dobrou zkušenost a piti (ledove napoje,milkshake,pivo,alko i nealko ,interier je krasny,urcite zajděte i do spodni pasáže.Doporucuji :
