Brookville - Kansas

The people were so friendly, got to meet the chef. The chicken was fabulous and the fixings were spot on. It was my first time and I was not disappointed. It lived up to everything I heard about this old place. I loved it. Do yourself a favor and make the time to stop in.

Unfortunately, after 120 years, this single family owned business is closing for good. My family and I have enjoyed eating at the Brookfield Hotel many times over the past 50+ years celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, both at it original place in Brookfield, KS......and after it moved to Abilene, KS just off the interstate.
