This place was surprisingly so very yummy and yet affordable for a Hollywood scale. Sashimi was superb. Service was excellent. Totemo Oishi!!!
Eat at the Sushi bar to avoid impatient table service
They’re nice enough people here. No wait for seating. The sake is cheap af. Got a headache after two hot sake cups. Got the omakase and the waiter couldn’t tell me what was what. Just mumbles tuna and salmon and walked off lol. You get what you pay for. It just doesn’t make sense to pay for a cheap omakase here when you can go to sugarfish for the same price and get wayyyy better quality fish. The toro (fatty tuna) which should melt in your mouth was so chewy I actually spit it out when my dining partner wasn’t looking. The rice is dry and bland and falls apart soon as you touch it. This is just mid af sushi. Dry wasabi. Just bad.
