The absolute traditional mouth experience. No matter where I am, I always miss this cooking! Don't miss it by chance. I always take my friends and guests there and they all love the food, the owners, the view and the atmosphere of the place for Sparta.

Very good, cozy, restaurant! Quality cooking with large local ingredients. The hosts were lovely, not too little English, but with the normal Greek words, you can really eat well!

Lovely authentic family run taverna. We came here for one night , and had delicious home cooked lamb with home grown vegetables. It was my husbands birthday and it made it a special evening , fabulous views over Sparta too!!

Some of the nicest people in Greece lead this joint. My family and I attended on the advice of locals. It's amazing. They have their own, locally grown vegetables and their own agricultural meat. We had everything from their pork steaks to fresh ground beef (Beeftekia), to their own local sausage (a must). Everything is as authentic as possible and the service was great. It is a pure, clear, family-run restaurant with an amazing terrace view of the village below. Very recommended for quality and authenticity. You'll feel like this family invited you to dinner. It is from the beaten path on a wonderful ride a few roads to the village. It's a movie. The place is packed with locals and with travelers who searched their research and a real Greek cuisine. Tired of tourist traps? Would you like to experience real Greek cuisine? You will have a hard time finding a better meal in this region Greece.
