What a lovely little place. Charming interior decor, clean kitchen, super friendly staff and a big heater on the wall. The chips were next level! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, delicious. Handy stopping spot 2 hours from Picton. Clean Public toilet over the road. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Didn't realize they had changed hands and disappointed most of the old menu had gone and had a limited selection and some prices were high. We always stop here when in kaikoura as hubby loved their fisherman basket.! But will admit the Chips were good. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$10–20
Great place, friendly, Fish was best I’ve had for quite some time, the batter is absolutely amazing, kinda between a crumb and a batter you find elsewhere, You can actually see and taste the fish, since it’s not hidden in 1” thick batter definitely be back soon, hopefully.
