Café Vesilinna - Jyvaskyla

This is a unique food in Jyväskylä. The menu does not offer a variety of options, but they prove that is less. All meals draw on Finnish Nordic cuisine, with high-quality and organic ingredients. The desert and cake options are among the best in the city. And the view is unique, the restaurant sits just a few levels below the view tower and on a clear day the whole Jyvaskyla and its surroundings can be observed.

Great place, on the first floor you can visit museum, buy souvenirs and then climb up to enjoy the most beautiful view in Jyväskylä. I was there in winter so amazing to see everything white around you. I forget to say nice caffe bar on the second floor.

Decor was ok, bright and clean. The view from the restaurant is amazing overlooking whole Jyväskylä from high above. Lunch buffe was ok, I did expect more from a price of 19.90€ which is quite steep considering the competition from other places from the city. Restroom was clean and service was friendly.
