De Uitsmijter - Jordaan

Being in Amsterdam after so many years, there is nothing more than a good proper Dutch breakfast that comes to mind. As I was staying in a resort in Amsterdam RAI, it made it very easy for me to reach various locally owned businesses and De Uitsmijter was ony list to try. Guys, no doubt the food was good, freshly squeezed orange juice, cappuccino and oh yeah, did I mention you can order via the app? All you have to do is scan the QR code, pay for your order and food comes out as soon as it 's done. Such friendly, quick and good service. Highly recommend.

Overall a good experience for breakfast. On the plate with the poached eggs the vegetable was a bit too burnt and it affected the taste. Also the portion was maybe a bit small for the price.

The food itself is good and the atmosphere relaxed, but sadly I would not come here again. We had to wait for well over than half an hour to get even our coffee, and several parts of our order were still missing. Worst of all, when we asked about the missing items, we did not see ANY reaction. In the end, we took the last drinks to go. Very disappointing.

The nicest place to start your visit to Amsterdam Avoid coming to Amsterdam Centraal, that take you through an horrid and vulgar toerist zone From Amsterdam Zuid or Rai you come into friendly and beautiful Amsterdam South From RAI train station, take tram 4, descend in Dintelstraat and there is the most cozy place to have coffee, sandwich and soups En last but not least the graceful and beauty crew

Had the 2 eggs, bacon with cheese on toast, asked for Mole sauce from another combo to be added and they happily complied. It was fantastic , bacon and cheese were cooked crispy but not burnt just the way I like it, eggs were medium to easy over. Had an excellent cappuccino with it, I would highly recommend this place for breakfast , in particular if your North American this will hit the spot for you.
