Cootie Brown's Campus - Johnson City

This was my first time here and I wasn't impressed. It took a long time—35 minutes—to get a table, and then we had to go over the menu before placing our order. By the time the food arrived, it wasn't even warm; the sauce on the three tamales was cold. For a Friday night out, it was disappointing. My wife and I might consider giving it another shot when it's busier next time.

If you can't find something you enjoy at Cootie Browns, you might as well not be alive! The menu is diverse, and the food is quite tasty. I ordered the Reuben, while my girlfriend had the club sandwich, and both dishes were excellent. The homemade potato chips are fantastic as well. Our server provided top-notch service. My only complaint is that the seating isn't very comfortable; you're sitting on wood.

This was our second visit to the restaurant, where we met up with some friends. This time, we decided to try the brunch, and it was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken and waffles while my husband opted for the Philly cheesesteak. Our friends enjoyed steak and eggs as well as a southwestern sandwich. The customer service was excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable.

A fun place with great food and service! My favorite is the Muffaletta sandwiches and my husband loves their pizza.

On the campus of Eastern Tennessee University, a great little place for a bite, drink and relax. Our waitress was top notch. Happy Birthday to her.My wife had the Taco Rito and she said it was delicious. I had a hot ham and cheese with in kitchen made chips, outstanding.
