Got takeaway chicken korma was terrible 4 tiny pieces of diced chicken in the most awful sauce, definetly not a korma, the lamb mince tandoori was so dry it was not edible, garlic naan bread was ok. Would not recommend this place at all, very very disappointing and a waste of money
The food was of good quality, ample portions and with prompt, friendly service. As with many Indian restaurants the only way to judge their spicing levels, which is solely a matter of personal opinion and preference, is to try it yourself. We were with our daughter and her husband, both of whom found the 'medium' heat levels to be very much to their liking. My wife and I found the same level to be too hot for our palates. That said, the only gripe we had on the quality was with the rather burnt pappadums (poppadums if you will). If you like your curries on the hot side, I am sure you will enjoy this restaurant's cuisine, either take away or eat in.
Service was very slow - drinks arrived after our meal. Atmosphere not very appropriate with TVs on very loud - Food was nice but not recommended - I would not go back.
Best Indian North of the river. Mayur's dishes are authentic, full of flavour and cooked in a traditional way. The menu is extensive with a range of dishes to please all pallets. Clean, efficient and well priced.
