Brumby Bar & Grill - Jindabyne

A very pricey place for dinner. Salt and pepper squid on a bit of iceberg lettuce with sweet potato chips $30. Not coming back.

Great food when it arrived; yet sadly it was extremely late and staff needed to bereminded what we ordered. After 1.5 hours we were feed with good food. If you have time and patience you will be rewarded.

Jindabyne has a pretty poor selection of "restaurants" open on Mon and Tue. So we went to the Brumby Bar for a steak sandwich. The staff are nice, the setting is OK however the steak sandwich was cold. Meat was tender enough to be fair. It is a pub so you get what comes but hot food is pretty basic stuff. Anyways it doesn't have much competition for pub grub in Jindabyne so we will be back at some time. Next time I will politely ask for the steak to be hot.

This is one of our new fav spots to eat in Jindabyne. We came here for a Sunday lunch with two families that included three children under the age of eight. The games on the table are such a good idea and kept the children entertained. The meals were a good size, very tasty and reasonably priced - the menu is extensive.Lunch was so good we decided to go back for dinner on our last night of our holiday. We will be back next year!

5 stars might be too high but for Jindabyne its the best. The place is lively and we had a big meat feed up. I'd definitely return.
