Located in the lobby of the Courtyard Marriott, right by the PATH station. It 's not bad, especially given its in a hotel lobby. Had breakfast here because I was in a rush. The sandwiches are about $10, and are actually pretty decent (the setup of the place is very similar to Starbucks and it serves Starbucks coffee, but the food was considerably better). Staff were very friendly. My main complaint is the long wait time. Don 't come here if you are in a rush, as its not fast food ... I think it took almost 10 min for my food to be prepared.
Although they have a breakfast menu, it was never served during my visit. The excuse given was that there was a small private group having a buffet, implying the kitchen couldn't manage any additional orders. Instead, they offered premade sandwiches and fruit trays. One evening, when we stopped by for drinks, I discovered they didn’t have any regular rum available—only spiced rum. The bartender seemed to think we were being unreasonable for asking for what should be a standard item. There's a big difference between spiced rum and regular rum, much like the difference between a vanilla vodka martini and a Fireball whiskey sour. The coffee experience was just as frustrating. They often didn’t provide consistent condiments; some days there was no half-and-half, while on others, sugar was absent. Additionally, the containers for milk products looked neglected, with dry, curdled milk stuck to the spouts. The final straw for me came on the last day when I was served lukewarm coffee and charged for something I didn’t order. This wasn’t just about the high price for subpar products and service; it was primarily that I was billed incorrectly. Overall, my experience was frustrating enough to warrant a one-star review.
I really enjoy their pizzas; the small size is just right for one person. Our waitress, Latoya, was friendly and delightful!
On my final evening, I experienced a similar situation. The bar was often unattended, and when staff eventually appeared, the bartender seemed more preoccupied with the cash register while patrons waited in line for drinks. I found it quicker to leave the hotel and head to another bar to get served. Overall, the place feels severely understaffed or simply disinterested in making a profit.
