Orale Mexican Kitchen - Jersey City

My friend and I decided to grab some drinks.we got the melted cheese, it was amazing.When we were paying there was a small cockroach coming from the bartenders mat we try to not make a scene because there was a lot of people near us so we hit it with our check and call for the bartender. One was really nice and try to fix the situation while the other one (the one that was our server) was giving us a nasty attitude. Kind of like -Don’t make a big deal out of it.We try to not make a scene and yet one of them de used to treat us like we did something wrong when in reality it’s very concerning the fact that there’s cockroaches at this restaurant.Sadly we are not coming back.

Very nice atmosphere and staff are very friendly. They have events frequently and food is pretty good. Prices are on the high side fyi

If you’re vegan/vegetarian, I highly recommend coming here for their brunch menu. We’ve been here twice and ordered the same dishes each time. My husband got the chilaquiles and I got the vegetarian tacos, and we both enjoyed our dishes. We also got the charred guacamole, which was good, although recently when we came, I felt it was a bit salty, but my husband thought it was fine, and I don’t remember it being too salty last time, so maybe it was just a fluke. Nice, tasty, and strong frozen margaritas. Will definitely return for brunch.

Greetings to the Orale team.I just wanted to express my pleasure and satisfaction with attending Jose Sepulveda's party on Thursday, the 16th. Despite it being our first time at Orale in Jersey City, we were very pleased with the service.Everything was delicious, simply delightful.Our server Santiago made a difference with a very attentive and friendly experience!!Looking forward to returning soon for my birthday celebration.

Love this place, but the menu changes a lot and not always for the best. The guacamoles are amazing and many of the appetizers are great too
