Basic Coffee - Jersey City

Awesome coffee shop near our bnb.Delicious lattes hot or cold.Nice breakfast options too.Note: they are closed for labor day vacation starting august 21st 2023 for a week.

I had brunch at this restaurant and the Teriyaki bowl was life-changing.

This literal corner coffee shop is a gem in Jersey City. We found it around the corner from our Air BnB on our second day in the city...and wish we would have found it on day one! The employees were extremely kind and accommodating of our request for plant-based options. They have four or five options for non-dairy bases to coffee drinks and smoothies. We both got the avocado toast (one of us on bread and the other on a bagel) and the food was amazing.Dietary restrictions: Basic has four or five non-dairy options for their coffee drinks. There also are a couple breakfast sandwiches that can be made without dairy or meat.
