As I stood in line waiting to place my order. I continuously heard people thanking them and speaking of how great the food was. I wish my turn and placed my order.. I ordered the deep fried artichoke hearts, as well as the jambalaya with chicken and alligator. I also had the Po boy with shrimp. each andevery dish was unique in its Cajun flavor the artichokes hearts were Crisp and tender. the jambalaya was spicy and cooked perfect. the shrimp Po Boy was filled with just enough shrimp to have a shrimp with every bite.. I'll be back..Thanks for the Great food. And the Rose????
How impressive!!! We were so happy to find out about their cart after the brick and mortar shut down. The food was outstanding. We got the cajun mac and added andouille sausage and jalapeños. WOW! So spicy and so much depth of flavor. The shrimp po' boy was also excellent. Crispy roll and so much flavor because of the sauces. Service was so friendly and we waited about 10 minutes for our order. Definitely worth checking out and making this a regular go-to for excellentcajun food!
I was so happy to see a Montage cart! They have the best vegan mac in the city, and there is a ton of competition. It?s perfectly spiced and has great noodle texture that can stand up to the sauce. Their jambalaya is also amazing. We added shrimp and sausage. Really digging the Hawthorne Asylum food carts!
I?m adding one star because I cannot post without adding any stars?.buuuut, worst experience ever! After getting our we realized that the shrimp wasn?t fried or had any type of coating on it. My Po? Boy was a disgusting combination of shrimp cocktail and a wanna be Po? Boy. The jambalaya although advertised with sausage on it as shown by n their very own menu board came with no meat on it and tasted absolutely disgusting. When we went back to talk to them the level ofaggression and disrespect was unbelievable. The cook went on to tell us that they won?t refund anything or exchange because we got what we ordered and he knows how to cook it properly, that maybe we aren?t sure of how Cajun food shouldtaste because we?re in Portland. Which I ironically we are only here temporarily from the South about two hours from New Orleans. He also went on to say that the picture on the menu of the jambalaya wasn?t theirs it?s from anotherrestaurant and that they don?t use sausage on theirs that it?s only veggie based ???? he ended the conversation by saying if you don?t like the food quality you shouldn?t have ordered the food!!!! Needless to say we will not be returning tothis food truck.
