Nutri Taco is usually our Mexican go-to because we are a vegan and non-vegan. We ordered the tofu chimichanga which was crisp and tasty, and a wet burrito with asada which he said was very good, even tho the sauce was a bit spicy. Staff was friendly, bathroom was clean.
Don't judge a book by its cover! This little gem is worth the adventure of finding. I had the vegan Wet Burrito with chipotle soy curls and it was probably the best wet burrito I've ever eaten in my 51 years!
The food is fairly tasty, but for saying it is vegan friendly and I find a decent amount of cheese in the salsa, which is closer to pico de gallo, I'm not happy.
I liked their Chipotle Tempeh and their “Agua de Jamaica” is unadultersted with sugar or chemicals. You can eat on a couple of benches outside on a sunny day, bit I wouldn't recommend it on a raimy day. Order ahead if you're picking up. Parking om the street may.be hard to find. Drinks were spendy $4.50 a pop Their tacos are $2.00, bit they're tiny! I still appreciate their focus on fresh and healthy foods.
Excellent food with vegetarian and vegan options. A neighborhood favorite, for sure!
