Came here with my husband on a non busy Monday night. I’d do 2.5/5, but since I can’t do half a point and I think the current rating is a huge stretch (4.8/5), I’m doing 2/5. Hear me out.Ambiance is great, the space and music very pleasant. One star for that.We tried 3 plates:1. Oysters they were good. Price ok, like the place next door.2. Sardine toast good. Price ok.3. Kanpachi crudo NOT good and definitely overpriced. $20 for 3 flavorless bites. Worst crudo we’ve had.So, 1 star for overpriced ok (or not so ok) food.Service was super slow, plus a table that sat well after us, next to us, ordered first. Not good practice.Overall, we don’t see how this place was rated at 4.8./5 Considering the amazing food scene in Pdx, they need to step up their game significantly.

I absolutely love this bar. The atmosphere was just perfect the patio was lovely and I really enjoyed the music. Our drinks were fantastic (Picon Punch Royale, Retrograde, and Un Air cabernet franc) and we also tried the steak and the butter poached carrots, which were delicious.Vegetarian options: Butter Poached CarrotsDietary restrictions: Very knowledgeable about gluten allergies.

Like this place! Their small plates and cocktails are great. Will definitely go back!

Came here on a weekend night to catch up with a friend and read. We got very distracted by the delicious food options and ordered almost everything on the short menu. Every single dish was phenomenal and provided such a unique set of flavors. Really enjoyed the carrots and whipped feta with chili oil crunch! The milkbun was also so soft and warm and perfect to dip the whipped feta in.The wines were also delicious. To tie everything together, the ambience was great for a summer patio hang out. The alleyway does reverberate sound so it can get a little noisy.Great place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine with a small group of friends or solo dine and catch up on a good book!

This is such a charming little spot for a date night! I had been eager to try a wine bar, and they exceeded my expectations with their service and quality. I ordered an orange wine, and it was absolutely amazing.
