Jekyll Market - JEKYLL ISLAND

We had the best and freshest fried shrimp and fried green tomatoes here. The batter was perfectly seasoned, and everything was cooked to perfection. The pulled pork sandwiches were equally delicious. It's not often that every member of our family enjoys their meal, but this time, everyone was satisfied with their choices. The service was excellent and quick, making it a perfect way to wrap up our day on Jekyll Island. We even had delicious food for the car ride home!

The prices are comparable to other markets, but this one is outstanding. It offers unique features that you won’t find elsewhere.

A great spot for last-minute shopping! They offered some unique souvenirs as well. I visited just before graduation, and it was still quite busy. The staff was really friendly, even though they probably wanted to head home. Prices were a bit on the higher side, but that's what you expect on an island. You're paying for the convenience.

They offer a wide range of products, wine, beer and food. The prices are high. The interior design does not work for efficiency. There are long waiting times for the checkout and it is not easy to find what you want. Since there are few places to eat and drink on the island, we were happy that the Jekylll market was there and open.

Jekyll market is a great place to pick up things you may have forgotten to bring. Yes you may pay a couple dollars more for it but the alternative is drive off the island to Winn Dixie or Walmart. Plus you can pick up a quick sandwich at the deli or go on back to the Love Shack, they have the best chicken fingers and shrimp!
