I placed a takeout order and called 20 minutes ahead to reserve it, then picked it up right away. The sea squirt was different from the ones I had in Seoul, it was fresh and had a clean, unique flavor that was really delicious. The clam porridge was also amazing, with plenty of clams and a rich, perfectly seasoned taste. We quickly finished both dishes at our table. Despite trying a variety of foods during my trip, if I come back again, I would definitely want to eat here at least once a day because it was so delicious. I am looking forward to trying other menu items as well. Highly recommended.
I paid for it myself review! I regret that I couldn't take a picture... There aren't many places open until 11pm, so I had to find a place to eat after arriving late from a flight... First of all, the prices were reasonable. It felt like a local restaurant with locals having company dinners. I thought it was a hidden gem. Most of them ordered sea mustard, but we ordered king abalone porridge and seafood stew without trying sea mustard, and it was excellent. The porridge tasted like abalone porridge, and the seafood stew had a very flavorful broth. Even the kids were eager to eat, which surprised me. I highly recommend trying it at least once!
I asked how to enjoy Honghae Sam even more and they came over themselves to demonstrate. Wow, eating it that way is truly the ultimate best!
A bit pricy but worth the try! The Abalon porridge with fresh urchin was delicious! The only one did not taste so good was the Tornito Shell. It was too hard. The rest were great!
