I never leave ratings but I feel obligated to share this. I drive past Hungry Hanks daily on my commute to work. There’s NEVER a car in the parking lot during their open hours so that should speak for itself. I finally decided to grab takeout on my way through for my son and I and I never should have. I got home with my Pepperoni pizza and upon opening it, my son Marques found a hair right in the middle of the pizza. I worked food industry for a few years out of high school so I get it. things happen. But the shocking part is when I took it off… I’m 31 but I’ve been around a time or two to know the difference.. It was a PUBIC HAIR. Right on the center plastic pizza saver. How does that happen? Absolutely disgusting. Needless to say, the pizza went straight to the garbage. It was way over priced anyhow for how thin it was. Doubt I missed anything. Come on guys. Do better.
Always great food and their salads are really good if you’re in the salads The owner is super accommodating very nice. It’s always good to support small business.
Hungry Hank’s used to make really good pizza but recently the quality has declined. There was a change of ownership so that might have something to do with it. The last pizza I ordered was a mess. The crust was soggy, as I picked up each slice it fell apart and all of the toppings slid off. They use canned mushrooms which are terrible. The peppers are also out of a can. The appetizer did not include a side of dipping sauce. I felt like I wasted my money on that order. I’m done. There’s a ridiculous amount of pizza shops in Jeannette you really need to do better. Start by using fresh ingredients for your toppings it makes a big difference.
Just moved to this area about four months ago… this is the closest pizza place to my house so I’ve ordered here a couple times. Once the pizza slide in the box the other time the lady acted rude and as if I wasn’t the person who ordered my pizza even tho I was sitting on my porch waiting for her to delivery it. So tonight, I called this place 5 times in a row, half hour before they closed and got no answer. The people here are lazy and greedy. They will act rude if you don’t include a big enough tip and cherry pick when they want to answer the phone. Called today Nov 19th at 7:30pm and the answering machine said it was Nov. 14th and they would reopen at 4pm. Terrible business practices go on here and it’s very obvious.
