Shaolin - Jalandhar

Went for authentic Chinese food on 10dez. we ordered noodles, Malai chickens. taste of every taste brilliant. the amount is good. the food was fresh, properly prepared and worth the price of great. I highly recommend it.

As they say, the first impression is the last impression. I was appalled by the dismal condition of Shaolin Restaurant in Jalandhar. From the moment you enter to the moment you leave, the staff's lack of interest is evident. The overpriced menu sets leave much to be desired. The untrained staff of all ages lack basic customer service skills. The service is poor, the staff lacks basic etiquettes. The table layout, menu cards, and other essentials are of very poor quality. They provide cheap paper napkins when customers expect better standards. The food quality, portion size, and service need serious attention from management. The variety of food and beverages needs to be expanded and hygiene standards must be improved. I witnessed staff wiping tables with a cloth that was later used on the floor, which was concerning. It took them a long time to locate even a salt and pepper shaker. The soup bowls are smaller than average finger bowls. It was shocking to learn that they do not accept credit cards in this digital age, only cash payments are accepted. I cannot recommend Shaolin when compared to reputable Chinese restaurants like Mainland China. The lack of standards and poor management make Shaolin a disappointing dining experience. My visit to Shaolin was my first and last. There are surely better dining options in Jalandhar than this poorly maintained restaurant. It is up to you to decide. Thank you.

Good Chinese food. equivalents. sometimes live light music. it is available alcohol. food with various types of kitchens.

It was a very good restaurant. And I rated it number 2 in Jalandhar. But today to my surprise it has gone down in standard. Washrooms dirty, curtains improperly arranged, flees on table and lot more. Sorry Shaolin. U disappointed me.
