Red Gill Bistro - Jacksonville

This restaurant had amazing seafood cooking for a reasonable price. You get a lot of food worth buying. Everything was so fresh. The ambience had low illumination and intimate, with high tables and only a waitress/server. I loved it comfort for the hotel and the hours were perfect. Very recommended.

Had a big steak tip sandwiches and an incredible penne Alfredo Mac cheese absolutely wonderful bartender was very nice she had Yuengling on the bottle my favorite part very nicely wonderful they had the game strongly recommend thank you

Ordered the quesadilla and plain wings to-go for dinner. The service was fast, food ready on time, was a good temperature, and tasted really good. Returned for a breakfast pick-up of an omelet, fruit and drink the next day ordered online. Arrived when it should have been ready and the restaurant was closed. I left a comment on their review app showing my unhappiness. By the time I got back to my hotel room the charge to my card had been removed and the owner called me personally to explain their morning closure and offered me a free dinner to make things right. I have never received such quick customer service to correct a problem. I understand things happen and appreciated him taking quick action. I?ll be back for dinner! Update: Got the ?Hog Heaven Baked Potato? and it was delicious! Comes with coleslaw.

This was the worst shrimp and grits I ever had. The grits instant and were microwaved and looked like soup. The grits were not cooked all the way, you could still feel the crunchy grinds. The shrimps were frozen and really tiny. The bread supposed to be toasted but wasn?t. The eggs were powdered eggs. The waitress was nice but I have a issue with the waitress being the cook and the cashier. I just wanted to try their breakfast. It?s a no go ????? for breakfast. I will try dinner once.

This place was pretty good! I was surprised how good the brisket was and my surf n turf burger was so filling! We are completely stuffed! The customer service was on point and our food came out in a timely manner. Our food was great and of course we had drinks. We will definitely come back to this location! Our server was amazing with her beautiful locs!
