This is in response to the lady who wrote about her negative experience in our restaurant. Let me first say that her family came on Valentine's Eve and our restaurant was almost full, not only four din in tables. Secondly, I did not see this woman in the back where we packed our supplies. We do not prioritize takeover/delivery orders before we feed into tickets. We had a lot of deliveries / deliveries and put customers. The time on deliveries was long, the time on Dine in the tables was long, and the whole night was busy. Thirdly, we do not automatically add bliss. The woman did not tap the server and was incredibly rude when she left. As a sidenote there is only one server/bus (the person who takes the tables/exploo (the person who ensures that the food goes to the right table)/runner(the food takes to the table) for the entire restaurant. From all the people who were served this evening, this woman was the only one who had explained it. Thank you for coming, but please make sure to disclose all the details of your experience correctly.

Loooots of parking available!! Wasnt busy at all when we came there last night around 9pm. I wonder why.. Because their specialty sushi is REALLY good! The simple sushi is ok. Not a big fan of their pad thai, as it was pretty dry. But my wife loved it. And its served in a BIG portion! Overall good food decently priced. Good service. Lacking way more options for alcoholic drinks and tea. Their green tea isnt that good... Almost gave a 5star, but still worth visiting if you like HQ specialty sushi!! *Recent visit: AVOID THE PAD THAI its the worst Ive tried! Its SUPER GREASY and the meat just doesn't taste right... Trust me, just stick to the Sushi here

The spicy pepper steak with Cumin is my favorite! I also enjoy Japanese curry. It tastes like an Indian style curry. Only the hint is not to go the salad. It is very little seaweed on a large bed gurke. Tastes great, but not worth price.

Hokkaido has been my go-to Japanese restaurant for years and I order their food at least 2 times a week. Their Sushi is top notch for the price and quantity. They always provide quality service with a smile and even care enough to call you by name after awhile. They are a hidden treasure in the Midway Park area and we are lucky to have them.
