Fox - Jacksonville

This place is so unique has some great food. Specialty is omelettes I got the Honky Tonk which consist of sausage, onions, peppers gravy. We sat at the bar the seats were comfy with a nice foot rest. It is one of those places I could literally sit people watch all day. And I dont mean that in a bad way, it is just all part of its cute uniqueness!

Excellent, entertaining, quick service!! I got the coyote burger and it was sooo delicious y’all Beware of how small the diner/restaurant is though but no complaints for me. Will be back for some biscuits and gravy I think!!

Naturally very busy when we arrived on a Saturday morning to meet family for breakfast. The host (a very friendly and engaging gentleman) welcomed our party of 4 high chair with assurance that he will get us seated asap. He did exactly that. We got a wonderful window table. The server was spot on with meeting our needs and never letting the coffee get low. The throwback feel of this classic diner was so cool to experience, unlike many other places. The food was hot, fresh and delicious! Ya gotta go!

My favorite breakfast in Avondale might be Jax. The cook will prepare your food to perfect with turbo speed! Bring a friend or bring the family. And when you come alone, sit on the counter and enjoy the Camaraderie of the staff!!! The Fox Restaurant.

All I can tell is breakfast here. Usually stop after Dr.'s visits between 0900-1000. I'll wait, if ever. The eggs are cooked for perfection, as the omelets fries at home. I think they have 14 different types of omeletts here, from ordinary guys to savory. The Fox has a 50'-60 type diner feel with, good, friendly staff to the chefs who know their way around the grill. Here too, prices are very reasonable. On weekends it usually becomes a line outside the door of up to 10 people. They also offer the standard lunch rate of the sandwich soup, but not for it. I think they close about 2:30-3:00.
