China Super Buffet - Jacksonville

I came from out of town to visit my sister. She and her family took I and another sister to this restaurant. It was literally the worst $20 I’ve ever spent on myself. Of our family of 6, not a single item was eaten without some complaint. Little variety, breading so thick, you couldn’t find the meat, cold fries, overcooked chicken, unshelled shrimp, unclean crawfish, vegetables so overcooked they were mush, on and on. Every. Single. Item. Nothing was near edible. If I could give a zero…I would

I almost left when I saw the buffet cost $17.99, and I honestly wish I had. The food was disappointing, and the restaurant itself was poorly maintained. I was really hopeful based on a trucker's glowing review about the food, but now I feel misled. Even the ice cream wasn't enjoyable. I'm just crossing my fingers that I don’t get sick from this meal.

Definitely my new go to buffet. Great hospitality good quality.

The food was not appealing. The seafood (crabs and crayfish were old and dead before cooking due to discoloration).Added pictures just to show what was available but it was very disappointing.

Personally, I usually love clams and use them to judge a buffet. Unfortunately, these were mushy and flavorless. I even had to spit out several because they were gritty with sand. To top it off, I found something hard in one of them that almost broke a tooth. After that, I couldn't bring myself to eat anything else except for some ice cream, which was mostly covered in frostbite. Yuck! To make matters worse, we all ended up with diarrhea by the next morning. I strongly recommend staying away!
