Frit Flagey - Ixelles

Went for frites which were very good. Somewhat out of the way if you start in the city centre but the start end of a nice walk along the lakes to the Abbaye de la Cambre and beyond to the Bois delà Cambre. They sell a few gluten containing items alongside frites, but we observed these were fried in a separate small fryer.

The best place in Brussels to eat real Belgian fries is one of the most famous spots located in Place Flagey. They have a separate fryer for the fries. For the sauces just ask which one are Gluten Free.

Mmmmmmm. Great frites. Dedicated GF fryer uses beef fat to get that traditional taste. Take away only but on a sunny day you can sit on the nearby benches and watch people go by.

Very tasty fries!! I asked the man working if anything else was put in the fryer for the fries and he seemed offended at the concept. Allergen statement in the window as well- impressive for a small stand-alone joint. 12/10 would recommend!
