I went to this restaurant for a group dinner. The food was delicious and fresh, clearly sourced from local farms. I ordered a limoncello spritz and the meatloaf. The meatloaf was well-seasoned and I liked the chutney it came with. The waitress warned me that it would be spicy, but I found it to be quite mild. The fried chicken had a good crispy coating. The bread pudding for dessert was also tasty. I didn't enjoy the limoncello spritz as much as others I've had elsewhere. Overall, I liked the meal. While it wasn't the best food I've ever had, I appreciated that it was fresh and locally produced.
If you appreciate well-presented dishes over generous portions, then this restaurant is perfect for you. Located in Gilman Village, the cute building both inside and out is complemented by friendly staff. The Squash Lasagna was delicious, but the greens were too bitter for my taste, which detracted from the overall meal. I would likely come back for a light lunch instead. Parking is plentiful and free, and the service is for dine-in customers.
I was craving for burger, so I ordered 5 burgers for takeout and I drove 25 minutes while it’s raining and traffic. It was really disappointment. The burgers were super salty from one side – which weird so we had to cut the sandwich we were so hungry in half to get rid of the salty part. The fries were bad as well – dry and not fresh and we threw them away. This wasn’t my first time to order from this restaurant, I did before for dine in and it was a good experience.
