Lovely setting , great food , friendly staff who were also very knowledgeable about both the food and the wine choices , thoroughly recommend

I took my family to this restaurant for our Sunday roast and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was well-cooked and piping hot, and the service from the staff was excellent. We had a great lunch and will definitely be returning in the future.

We recently dined at this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by how clean and fresh it was. The manager, a middle-aged gentleman, was very accommodating and seated us. We were provided with menus and a specials card. The overall experience was excellent; the food came out promptly, was hot, and delicious. Additionally, the real ale I ordered was perfect.

Not greeted on arrival inspite of place being practically empty. Waited quite a while for drinks, roast dinner came absolutely drenched in gravy, all slopping over the side of the plate and was barely lukewarm. No one came to check our table at all, and when i mentioned to the manager whilst waiting to pay that the meal wasn't all that he never said a word! Very poor management, poor service and cold food, god know how they manage if they are ever busy, never again!

They recently changed the menu here, we sampled the pork belly and lamb shank and it was absolutely amazing. The items have changed for the better in our opinion
