El Patio House of Music - Isla Mujeres

Easily one of our favorites spots for music food and drinks on the island. We went twice, and both times service was very efficient. We had the brick oven pizza, which was excellent. Thin crust with lots of flavors and choices. We also enjoyed their frozen mojitos. For many other spots we noticed their cocktails were not as strong as we’d like, but not the case for this joint! Similarly the prices were very good. Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The other piece that was a huge draw for us, was the live music. The musicians play for a long time and provide a new spin on some old favorites. I LOVED the saxophone and the new flavor it adds to familiar songs. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Our rental house was actually across the street, so we decided to check this place out the first night of our trip. We all wanted this place to be good, but it was unanimously our least favorite of all the places we ate/drank at on the island for the week we stayed. We got the chicken skewers and the blue cheese burger. The skewers were just unseasoned chicken pieces heated up then drown in jerk sauce. The blue cheeseburger meat looked questionable with blue cheese dressing dumped on it with no actual blue cheese pieces. It was also supposed to have bacon on it, but it had what I could only describe has a square piece of jerky. I know they have bacon there because they sell their morning breakfast special, and this looked nothing like typical bacon strips. The music was good and wish we would have just made this a drink stop and not our dinner spot. The price we paid there it was easily our most expensive meal and least liked. Be warned.

Great atmosphere! The best margarita we had anywhere! Amazing spot and entertainment! Friendly staff and customers!

Excellent lunch entrees Coconut Shrimp was delicious, perfect toasty, the best I have ever had. Large portion. Live band played all the songs we knew. We sang along. St. Patrick’s Day was the best there. We have the tee shirts as proof. Happiest place on the island by far.
