I've been coming to Malaysia for 15 years, every time for long stays. I know the price of things, especially food. I didn't protest or do a thing because it was an 80-year-old grandfather who quoted the price, and I didn't want him to lose his face in front of the males and workers, but I certainly felt insulted and disdained! I spoke to another foreigner in my hostel and he experienced the same problem. It seems to be the politics of the house. Be careful when you eat there, tell them that former customers complain about this online, or better still: boycott them and eat elsewhere! Luckily, the food was okay, and the choice was impressive. But it wasn't worth what they accused me! Avoid your iced tea at all costs: it is yellowish water (tea is super weak) with a ton of sugar Awful!
It mocks meat and fish to the point you think it's a real thing. A bit too icky for my taste. Too oily. Cheap. Updated from previous review on 2023-01-19
Had a plate of noodles, veggies and 2 types of mock meat. Came up to 6rm upon paying.
You get what you payOne plate only costs RM 6.5. Yes food is incredibly cheap but not healthy at all. It's reaaaally oily. Ok for once when you have a cheap budget but won't come back again.
There is a huge variety on foods from which you can choose from. You take a plate and depending on how much you choose you’ll pay more or less, but it’s definitely always very cheap. The food itself tho is very, very oily. And I mean everything in the buffet, even the veggies. The taste is ok, but I definitely had better food before.
