Craft brewer in a pretty town with a great view. Restaurant is simple with friendly staff, but kitchen can get too busy. Southern fried chicken sandwich and fries was very good. Beer is great. Favorite is the double IPA.
Had an amazing evening at Route 19 catching up with some friends. The rustic decor and view made for an incredible atmosphere. Food beer were great (Double IPA Nineteenth hole specifically), staff was personable highly recommend!
The food was ok. Fish and chips and chowder. As we take COVID constraints into consideration, we have been at this for months now so it was discouraging seeing the servers taking their masks down. I saw one staff with wet hands because he was rinsing glasses. I did not see any other server wash their hands. One staff person had her mask down while she wiped down salt and pepper shakers and the counter. When she was finished, she put her mask back up. So that is what I could see seated near the bar. I can only imagine the practices in areas where I could not see. We may try this place again when we are past the restrictions, but during them? Forget it!
I believe the only reason this place is busy is because people go from the golf course and it's in a new nice building. However food is mediocre at best. The cured salmon is good but for $18 I was expecting more. The lobster roll ok but served with wilted lettuce. The very tiny bowl of chowder is good but way overpriced $15. It was more like a cup of soup size. The southern chicken wings were not good and we left them on the plate. Tacos were only ok. The place is clean and the server was friendly. But if you are looking for good quality and a decent price keep driving.
