The Stacked Pickle-96th Street

We made reservations (10 people) several days before the time and they called to confirm a few hours before the reservation. we came and they had high up tables that were pushed against a half-wall and all 10 chairs sitting on the same side of the table. they said they had a lot to walk, and that's why they brought us to this strange facility. when we said that this configuration would not work, they then asked a table of people (who have already eaten their food) if they were willing to move. then we told them that we were going and the table with the people who eat, stood up and went. that was very annoying because I had spoken to them before the time to confirm that we still have 10 people, and they thought that this was an acceptable set for 10 people who are together for dinner and drink. very disappointing.

It seemed like they were a little short-circuited, but the waiters worked hard to be attentive to everyone. we had a big group of 10 people. the food was great and came in time. a person had a flat brot that was a bit overdue, but they did it quickly and quickly brought it to the table. my pork pliers was excellent. great special on eimer von hausbier.

We love the new management and always ask for sammie or paloma.

We had a group in the city and they were so on our changing group size. the food was great and they had a nice beer selection. our server was wonderful, fast and has everything right with our group. recommend this place

It appeared that the restaurant was understaffed, but the waiters were making a great effort to provide attentive service to all customers. Our party of 10 enjoyed delicious food that arrived promptly. One diner received a slightly overcooked flatbread, but it was promptly replaced and served to the table in a timely manner. My pork tenderloin was outstanding. They also had a fantastic special on buckets of domestic beers.
